They performed acoustic for our ceremony and during the canapes, and then turned it up with an amazing DJ set during our reception and late into the night. We had a guest list that varied in ages, and thanks to The Foley Artists all of our guests were on the dance floor the ENTIRE NIGHT! No one wanted to leave when the buses arrived!
The boys set up in 3 different locations at our venue, and nothing was too much trouble. They provided a seamless experience from the first email, right up until the day. “We were so happy with The Foley Artists, we were a little slow with providing them with our wedding songs, which were a little different to the normal songs, they were amazing and made the songs exactly what we wanted. There was nothing too difficult for them.
On our wedding day, the weather provided a few challenges and we had to move spots unexpectedly with very short notice, this was done quickly with no concern at all. Our bridal entrance was epic, and they pulled off exactly what we wanted. We couldn’t recommend the guys anymore! Loved every single minute of them being a part of our day.”

“Where do we start!
We were so impressed with The Foley Artists. Beyond.
Roadie Russ was so professional and helpful during our first meeting, and in the first two minutes we knew the decision was made. Erin was a delight to deal with and so helpful.
On the day of the wedding, all the logistics were seamless as we moved Declan and Hugh from a boat, to outside, back inside, and back on the boat. The acoustic set was so good on the boat down that they even got a mention in the Father of the Bride’s speech! Uncle Keiron added some serious spice with the sax and the dance floor was completely heaving all night, with a few guests lamenting the lack of one bad song to make a toilet break!
We were so grateful that everyone was so accommodating with our song choices and made the huge effort to cater to our taste. Declan, Hugh and Uncle Keiron were true professionals and put on an amazing show all the way through.
Mum is now cyber stalking daily, Dad still reciting his speech singing the boys’ praise, and all our guests are still “froffing” over the dance floor magic created by The Foley Artists.

“Declan and Hugh played at our wedding on the 28th of December 2021 and we only have praise for the boys. We had so many guests on the day and the days following comment on how great they were acoustically (everyone loved the covers and the banjo!) and also as DJs. The dance floor was heaving and every guest was dancing their little hearts out at once stage! The boys agreed to play an extra couple hours for the after party which kept the party going. Hannah, Declan & Hugh (and Erin & Roadie Russ), you are simply incredible. Years ago, when we were talking about getting married in Tassie we did a trip down here and saw you perform ‘Tamlin’ at The Whaler. We looked at each other and said “that’s exactly what we want”. To hear you play our favourite songs, and then absolutely nail the Irish brief was incredible. After you finished The Auld Triangle, Conor’s best friend and brother-in-law hugged for an awkwardly long amount of time (like legitimately three minutes) because you had made them so happy and yet homesick too! These three, and their Roadie Russ, couldn’t have been any more accommodating. Our weather was unpredictable, so they set up in a variety of places, with no fuss, to create the day of our dreams.
The Foley Artists contributed hugely to the success of our wedding. We couldn’t have imagined it without them! They had the guests in awe at the ceremony, mesmerised during the dinner, and absolutely loving life on the dance floor! They even had grandparents tearing up the dance floor!
Our guest have not stopped raving about them and how incredibly talented, fun and energetic they all were!
Our MC had organised that Ring of Fire was her call to the guests to let them know that they needed to be quiet. The Foley Artists got around this 150%, playing and singing behind our MC, and supporting her in every way.

Being from Queensland we flew down to Tassie a year before the wedding to book vendors. We met with Russell and discussed what we wanted for our band and right from the beginning he was so easy to talk to and later to correspond with….kindly answering numerous emails and messages. My husband is a musician so music was always going to be a very important part of our day. The Foley artists were outstanding! Every one of our guests commented on how good they were. For my processional I wanted a classical piece, which the band learnt and then performed with their own unique style and it was perfect! My husband and MC wanted to perform a unique reception entrance song with the band and they were very accommodating, organizing a rehearsal and learning the song. It was the best entrance I have ever seen! The trio swapped to DJ mode and the dancing started and did not stop until the boys packed up. I don’t think I got off the dance floor all night.

Initially we only booked Declan and Hugh for a DJ set for the reception but because they had set up early, they were extremely generous and offered to play an hour acoustic set. They blew us away!
